About the Orphanage
St. Teresa Orphans Foundation (STOF) is a non-profit organization
which works with orphans and vulnerable children in
Songea rural and Songea Municipal in Tanzania, East Africa.

Our Mission

To love and care for orphans and vulnerable children by providing them with basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing and medical care. Also, aid them mentally, spiritually and emotionally to give them hope for their future.

To raise awareness among the people of Songea about the growing number of orphans and vulnerable children roaming in the streets and out of school.

To provide orphans and vulnerable children with education opportunities so that they may have a bright future. To educate, advocate and lobby for children's rights and equal opportunity for all children, regardless of color, gender, tribe, religion or physical and mental ability.
