For a long time we had a water shortage at the school and the children had to carry water in buckets about a half a mile for all school drinking and cooking water.  We did have public water piped into the school, but it was often not working at all. Then, 200 Orphanages Organization helped us to raise funds to dig a new well in 2019. The project was completed in 2020 and now we have plenty of water for all our school’s needs. Plus, the entire surrounding community is able to share our well water also.

Volunteers have been busy at a local warehouse sorting through donated items and preparing to load a shipping container bound for Songea, Tanzania.  

We have received many blessings such as bikes, clothing, shoes, baby items, toys, and textbooks.  An unexpected surprise came from St. John's University, which gifted us with six hospital beds and a blood pressure machine, as well as numerous things from their garage sale such as dressers and file cabinets. Another great blessing came from St. Francis School, which was the gift of 192 school desks.
